Before STACC became a reality, it was a vision. In 1979,
while walking down the street, our Pastor heard a voice saying, "Feed my
sheep!" What he once thought was a practical joke, was later explained by
his pastor to be the calling of God into the ministry, and confirmed in a dream,
in which our Pastor knelt before a rock, with many people in white behind him.
Both our Pastor and 1st Lady were taught and prepared for
ministry by Bishop Charles L. Taylor (with the Lord). They became students of
the Word and went out to begin their journey in 1992.
Our Pastor obeyed God and looked for a building in March
1999. God led him to our first building on 12125 Day St in Moreno Valley, CA. He
looked for other buildings in surrounding cities, however, God told him to start
the church in Moreno Valley. In July 1999, God sent our Pastor the funds and the
building that God first led Pastor to in March 1999, became their church home on
August 1, 1999. After they moved it was evident this was the place God would
dwell in, because God reminded 1st Lady of a dream she had recorded long before
Pastor found the building, and they were the same.
In that God's Word was the foundation of their ministry,
Pastor and 1st Lady agreed without hesitation to call God's church, Strong Tower
Apostolic Community Church (STACC). Our motto is, "We're not just another
church -- we're a refuge!" Many that have visited STACC can attest that
surely the presence of the Lord is in this place.
