Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. John 3:7
| |
| |
This command of Jesus Christ is without argument, an act that every individual must do in order to enter the Kingdom of God. How to do it is the controversy that has kept multitudes blinded by distraction, and rendered them unable to find truth, because they reject truth neither have a love for truth.

John 12:40: He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.
- Romans 11:7: What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded
Romans 11:8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear) unto this day.
2 Corinthians 4:3: But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 2 Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
So, you see, there is no controversy in the scriptures regarding the method of "being born again", but in the minds of them that don't believe what they see and hear that is according to the scriptures. Jesus is the perfect example of the method, and if an individual obeys the command and does what he did, they will have found the door to the heavenlies, which is Jesus Christ.

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. James 1:5

WHY Be Born Again? (Jn. 3:3-5)
| |
To see God's kingdom - If your spirit man is not reborn or regenerated, you will not be able to understand or enter God's Kingdom which is not of this world. Simply, you need the spirit which is from above, to see things from above.
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Jn. 3:3
To know what God has freely given to us.   For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 1 Cor. 2:11 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 1 Cor. 2:12
To enter or be translated into God's kingdom. Unregenerated man who is of Adam, has a spirit which is motivated by the prince of this world, who is Satan. There is only one way to exit out of Adam and this world: through death, and there is only one way into Christ's kingdom: through being born again. Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Jn. 3:5 |

HOW Can A Man Be Born Again? (Jn. 3:4)
| |
Through the process of decreasing:   Baptism of Water in Jesus name.   By faith, believing in the power of God to change, you must offer up your spirit unto God in prayer, and have your spirit man crucified and buried with Christ in baptism. .
Baptism is a type of death that separates us from the condemnation of Adam or the old man, and unites us with Christ by identifying with him in death. Contrary to what many believe, water baptism is not a spiritual event, it is a natural event with a spiritual purpose. God does the saving, without doubt, but we must increase, through confession and repentance of our sins, and "being obedient unto death" by partaking of Christ in baptism. Philippians 2:8
Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Ro. 6:3 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. Ro. 6:4
For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Ro. 6:5 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. Ro. 6:6
Jesus was baptized in water: And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: Matt. 3:16
Jesus was filled with God's Spirit: John 3:34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.
Through the process of increasing: Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Believing that God will reward you for obedience to the gospel, you must ask God for the Holy Ghost, seek Him diligently, and wait for God to baptize or pour out His Spirit into you as on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1-38); the Spirit will be a seal of proof in you that you are a son of God; you will be in the kingdom of God, and the kingdom of God will be in you. |

WHAT Is the Importance of Being Born Again?
| | Being born again is the only process of regenerating the spirit and soul of man. The day that Adam ate from the forbidden tree, he died spiritually and naturally, and that death passed on to every person born into the world. Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: Ro. 5:12
Due to the sin of one man, all souls are condemned to eternal damnation, even those who never sinned like Adam. In his disobedience, he forfeited his freedom to worship God freely, and as a result the spirit of man is in bondage to sin, corruption and the control of the devil.
Because Jesus Christ came into the world and died for us, we have access to eternal life, whether we live or die. Once regenerated, we are delivered from sin, and our spirit and soul is free to serve God in this life. Also, our bodies too, will be saved at the coming of Christ in the clouds, then we will have escaped the natural death as well as the physical.
Being born again, we escape the "Second Death".

|   | He must increase, but I must decrease. St. John. 3:30 | |
| | After reading this, you have a choice to make. Not a choice to be saved, for the power to deliver man from sin is solely in the hand of God. However, you have a choice to:
Seek repentance and remission from sin and dead works. Luke 13:3, Acts 2:38, 17:30
Humble yourself under the hand of God James 4:6-10, 1 Peter 5:6
Be obedient and get baptized in the name of Jesus. Matt. 28:19, Acts 2:38, 8:16, 19:5
Pray to God and ask diligently for the Holy Ghost (God's Spirit). Luke 11:13 |
